Headers, bold text, and proper paragraph handling are essential. 2. **Rejoin broken sentences and restore paragraph breaks**: Some names and titles are separated; they should be rejoined. Proper paragraph breaks should be maintained. 3. **File references and other specific formatting**: Not applicable in this text, but it's good to note. 4. **Page numbering**: Not present in this text. Another bullet grazed side without doing any damage, After the Second World War he spent some months in India reporting the growing agitation for independence and spent six months travelling in China in 1948, reporting the progress of the Chinese civil war for The Times. In between specific assignments he was stationed in Singapore, where he lived with his Czech wife, Maria, and their two children. On Thursday, 29 June 1950, a few days after the outbreak of the war in Korea, Mr. Morrison was telegraphed by The Times and asked if he would be willing to cover the war for the paper. He never hesitated. He flew to Hong Kong on Sunday 2 July and spent the night with Han Suyin. The following day he bade farewell to Han Suyin and flew to Tokyo, and thence to Korea. Han Suyin never saw him again. His first report was published in the paper on July 10. On Saturday, August 12 he was killed, along with Colonel M. K. Unni Nayar, and Christopher Buckley.
