8. The Hong's notices shall be posted at prominent places inside member's shop premises.
9. When acting as a sales agent, the member should first place the consigned goods in storage. If the owner of the goods intends to transfer the stock to other companies or places, he will have to pay the goods' price at current market value plus storage and transportation fees in accordance with the company's sales regulation before such a transference takes place.
10. Goods should be weighed in the presence of more than one worker, and the weight should be marked down by those present to avoid any mistake or omission. The goods should then be checked by the buyer himself.
11. Goods are delivered on production of the consignors' vouchers. The consignee company bears no responsibility for any insufficiency, arrears, loss or omission. Nor is it responsible for any accidents.
12. The buyer who purchases goods from any of the Hong's members should take over the goods as scheduled, or an additional sum will be charged as storage fees. He is also responsible for goods which deteriorate during storage. Under no circumstances should the buyer reduce the price or withdraw his purchase.
13. An interest of $12.50 on every $1,000, i.e. 1.25%, is charged in money exchange.
