Since the printed catalogue was distributed in 1972, the Library has grown considerably. It was originally intended to issue annual supplements, but this has proved impracticable and only one supplement covering two years has been issued. It is now hoped to compile a cumulative supplement of all additions since the original catalogue, and this will, as before, be distributed free to all members resident in Hong Kong.
Regrettably the use made of the Library continues to be minimal, although the greater part of the collection is easily accessible at the Public Records Office.* A note on the Library for the benefit of new members is in preparation, and it is hoped that this may encourage greater use.
