APPRECIATION

14.01 The financial year 1975/76 was a difficult year due to the continued need for financial restraint and restrictions upon recruitment of staff. Although overall expenditure was lower than in the previous year it was nevertheless higher than in 1973/74. That this was achieved reflects well on the staff of all P.W.D. Offices, to whom I must extend my thanks.
