Among the more important ones were Chatham Road Interchange Improvement, an elevated road from Cheung Sha Wan Road to Boundary Street, grade-separated intersections at Kwai Chung Road/Castle Peak Road and Wo Yip Hop Road/Cheung Wing Street, and improvements to the Lai Chi Kok roundabout and bus terminus.

Building development or redevelopment proposals including 9 petrol filling stations, 3 schools, 2 cinemas, one hotel, and approximately 1,290 residential, commercial, or industrial projects were examined.
