5.10. A course of lectures for Assistant Engineering Surveyors of all the Engineering offices in the Public Works Department was continued and proposals for future training were submitted. An analysis was made of the various proposed methods of construction for a new road crossing of Lai Chi Kok Bay, and a hypothetical report was prepared on the development of an area near Castle Peak for the World Bank for comparison with the Kwai Chung scheme.
