100. Preliminary sketch plans have been prepared for a building on the southern half of Murray Parade Ground to provide car parking, by ramped approach, for about 700 private cars.

101. A Radio Transmitter Station was completed on Mount Gough; working drawings are in hand for an Air Radio Station at Tat Hong Point; housing for aircraft approach radar equipment has been completed at Kai Tak runway and is under construction at Kowloon Tsai Park and Mount Butler; modifications to the old Kai Tak Terminal Building are in hand, construction has started at Green Island Explosives Depot for the addition of latrines and a trolley way. Associated building work was carried out for the air-conditioning of various Government buildings by the Electrical & Mechanical Office.

102. The amount spent on routine maintenance work on 251 Government and Government leased properties was $5,320,000 (an increase of $382,000). Major items on the programme included:
