44. A total of 967 minor disciplinary offences occurred as compared with 1,028 during 1965–66.
PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENTS
45. One officer was promoted to the rank of Commissioner, one to Deputy Commissioner, one to Senior Assistant Commissioner, five to Senior Superintendent and 17 Senior Inspectors were appointed Assistant Superintendents. One Senior Inspector was promoted to Chief Inspector and 32 junior officers were promoted to the rank of Senior Inspector.
