The Police Band gave many public performances throughout the year. This one was in the Botanic Gardens on Hong Kong Island.
In February, 1966, Officers of the Narcotics Bureau made this seizure on Basalt Island off the eastern shores of Hong Kong. It amounted to more than 900 lbs. of raw opium.
