INSPECTION OF THE FORCE

15. His Excellency the Governor Sir Robert BLACK, G.C.M.G., O.B.E., made three visits of inspection of the Force. The first, on 2nd April, 1962, was to the New Territories and Marine District and included the Frontier Division and the Police Training Contingent. The second, on 2nd May was to Police Headquarters, the Criminal Investi- gation Department and Special Branch and the third visit, on 16th May was to the Hong Kong Island District and the Police Training School.

COMMANDER BRITISH FORCES

16. On 18th March, 1963 H.E. Lieut.-General Sir Reginald HEWETSON, K.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., paid a farewell visit to Police Headquarters where he inspected a guard of honour and later met representatives from police formations.
