133. A total of 79 persons was arrested for Robbery; of these 12 or 15% were under 17 years of age while 32 or 41% were under 21 years of age.
134. Of the 617 persons arrested for Larceny from the Person, 169 or 27% were under 17 years of age, while 210 or 34% were under 21 years of age; comparable figures for the year 1958/59 are 17% and 21% respectively.
135. The 753 juveniles arrested for miscellaneous simple larceny represent 21% of total arrests for this type of offence; the under 21 age group totalled 991 or 27% of total arrests.
136. The apparent increase in juvenile crime is being watched carefully, but as yet there is no evidence of organized juvenile crime.
