REPORT ON THE SAMARITAN FÜUND 1.4.72–1137
The Samaritan Fund is entirely dependent po voluntary dpsstipoz and a total of $66,177.09 was received during this Anancial year. The main purpose of the fund is to give financial axistance to needy patientă to meet the exposed of track- poration is hospitals and clinics to enable them to obtain essential medical treatment, and to assist in the payment of ment and school fees etc. Small monetary pronto agę albo made to assist needy parbours for the purchase of clothing, daily noemitiza and food for astea nourishment after discharge from hospital, With the very generous donations by The Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club and Li Po Chun Charitable Trust Fund, it has been possible to qasist a toțul of 4,997 needy patients. During the year, it was found possible to plaça a súm of 580,000.00 on fixed deposit as a reserve agninat future contingçoçjcs.
