REPORT ON THE ŠAMARITAk Fund, 1.461 - 31.3.62 Expenditure from this Fund has risen considerably, due partly to the upening of the new mental hospital 22 miles from the main ayhan areas. The total amnunt spent during this Enancial year was $21,959,70, The main item of disbursement was on grants to potients and rel■tive.for travelling expenses. Donations for the same period totalled $21,647, The donors were ; -- Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club $13,000, the Hong Kong Jockey Club (Charities) Ltd, $3,000, the Hong Kong and Shangbai Banking Corporation $1,006, Chinese Tomplex Committee $5,000. Miscellaneous dopalious accounted for the halance of 3047.
