Orders of the Day

The only Order of the Day was the second reading of the Bill intituled, An Ordinance to provide for the carrying on of the work formerly carried on by certain German societies and persons in the Colony of Hongkong, and to deal with certain property formerly held or administered by, or used in connection with the work of, such societies and persons in the Colony of Hongkong, and to provide for the control of the persons by whom the said work is to be carried on.

The Jurors' List, 1923

H.E. THE GOVERNOR―Gentlemen, the next item on the list is the consideration of the Jurors' List for 1923, and I may say at this stage that, for certain reasons which have presented themselves, it seems doubtful whether it is desirable to proceed with the Second Reading down on the paper―at any rate in its present form―so it is proposed not to take it to-day. Therefore, the only remaining business is the consideration of the Jurors' List and I will ask the representatives of the Press to withdraw.

After consideration of the Jurors' List, Council was adjourned sine die.
