The Honorable the Acting Colonial Secretary,
The Honorable the Colonial Treasurer,
The Honorable the Chief Magistrate,
The Honorable George Lyall, Esquire.
The Acting Attorney General was present by special request.
The minutes of Council held on the 15th July were read and approved.
His Excellency laid on the Table a Draft Market ordinance as prepared by the Acting Attorney General, and the Honorable the Acting Colonial Secretary having explained the reasons for such an enactment, it was read and first time and resolved, that it be printed and published in the next Government Gazette, and copy thereof circulated among the Honorable Members, and the Council adjourned for Thursday the 20th August, when the Attendance of all the Members be especially requested.
