The Council met today pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Governor desired that the second reading of the Ordinance for Seamen should be suspended, and it was suspended accordingly – Several of its provisions were then discussed, and the further discussion was deferred sine die.
Read a second time and amended the Ordinance "for amending the Law of Evidence and Trial by Jury". This Ordinance to be published, as amended in the next Government Gazette.
The Council then adjourned till Friday the 22nd Instant at 1 o'clock.
