The Council met today pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Governor stated that the Draft of an Ordinance for the better regulation of Buildings and prevention of Nuisances will be submitted to the Council at its next meeting. It was agreed that the proposed Ordinance should, in the meantime, be published in the next Government Gazette for general information.
A Draft Ordinance "relating to public gaming houses, and for the better prevention of crime" was read a first time, and ordered to be circulated amongst the Honorable Members, previous to its transmission to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
The Council then adjourned sine die.
