The Council met to day pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read a second time, and passed, the Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to amend the Law "relating to Bills of Lading," – being No. 2 of 1856, – which was ordered to be published in the Government Gazette.
Read a first time, and ordered to be printed, Draft Ordinance "to declare certain Acts of the "Imperial Parliament to be in force in the Colony of Hongkong."
The Council then adjourned till Tuesday the 22nd instant, at one o'clock precisely.
