Minutes of the Legislative Council of Hongkong
for the half year ending 30th June,1855.

Present:

His Excellency The Governor

The Honorable The Acting Chief Justice

The Honorable The Acting Attorney General

The Honorable C. B. Hillier, Esqre

The Honorable J. F. Edger, Esqre

The Council met today by special summons.

The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.

Read a first time Draft Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to enforce neutrality during the contest now raging in China," and it was agreed that the same should be sent round to Members for further consideration, and the Council adjourned till Monday next, the 15th Instant at one o'clock.

A Consular Ordinance to the same effect was ordered to be prepared by the Acting Attorney General.
