Minutes of the Legislative Council of Hongkong

The Council met today by Special Summons.

The Honorable The Attorney General was present as Legal Adviser to the Government.

The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.

Read a first time a Draft Ordinance for Her Majesty's Subjects within the Dominions of the Emperor of China, or within any Ship or Vessel at a distance of not more than One Hundred Miles from the Coast of China, entitled, "An Ordinance for the prevention of Desertion amongst Her Majesty's Military Forces serving in the Colony of Hongkong or in China," which had been previously sent round to Members.
