The Council met today by Special Summons.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Seamen's ordinance, as revised at the last meeting and having the marginal abstracts attached, was laid on the table and further considered. It appearing to the Council advisable that the Public should have an opportunity of Commenting on the alterations and amendments which this Draft has undergone since its publication on the 11th August last, it was Resolved that it be re-published in its amended form for general information, previous to its receiving the final sanction of the Council at its next meeting.
