The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read the first time a Draft ordinance "for certain Marriages in the Colony of Hongkong" and consideration was given to a letter from the Reverend Dr. Legge, submitting certain observations on the proposed ordinance.
The Jury List for 1852 as transmitted by the Registrar of the Supreme Court was laid on the Table and considered, and the Council adjourned.
