The minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read the second time and passed, the Consular ordinance, entitled "An ordinance to "regulate the Jurisdiction of Magistrates and Courts of Session in Hongkong over "offences committed without the Colony by British Subjects; and for the better "carrying into effect the Treaties between Great Britain and China", being No. 2 of 1850, which was ordered to be printed and published in the Government Gazette.
Read the second time and passed, the ordinance entitled "An ordinance to provide for the "more effective carrying out of the Treaties between Great Britain and China in so far "as related to Chinese Subjects within the Colony of Hongkong", being No. 2 of 1850, which was ordered to be printed and published in the Government Gazette.
