The Council met today by special summons.
The minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Draft of a Notification regulating the Fees to be taken by Justices of the Peace for Hongkong in Proceedings had before them whether when sitting singly or otherwise, and cancelling the Scale authorized by Government Notification of 16th July 1844, was submitted and approved, and ordered to be published in the Government Gazette.
Further consideration was given to the Draft of Consular ordinance which was read for the first time at the last meeting of the Council.
