The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read the first time, Draft of an ordinance entitled "An ordinance to amend the ordinance "No. 3 of 1846, entitled 'An ordinance for the Relief of Insolvent Debtor within the "'Colony of Hongkong'".
The Draft of an ordinance entitled "An ordinance to amend the ordinance No. 9 of 1845, "entitled 'An ordinance to invest the Supreme Court of Hongkong with a summary "'Jurisdiction in certain cases,'" was read for the first time, and ordered to be published in the Government Gazette for general information.
