The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read the second time and passed, the ordinance entitled "An ordinance to repeal the "ordinance No. 6 of 1847, entitled 'An ordinance for extending the summary "'Jurisdiction of Police Magistrates and justices of the Peace within the Colony of "'Hongkong', and to substitute other Provisions in the place of those contained in the "said ordinance", being No. 1 of 1849, which was ordered to be printed and published in the Government Gazette.
