The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read the second time, and passed, the ordinance entitled "An ordinance to amend the "ordinance No. 13 of 1845, entitled 'An ordinance to establish a Licensed Ghaut "' Ghaut Lerang in the Colony of Hongkong, and for the better Regulation of Lascars "'Resorting thereto,'" being No. 2 of 1848, which was ordered to be printed, and published in the Government Gazette.
