Present:
His Excellency The Governor,
The Honorable the Acting Chief Justice,
The Honorable the Attorney General,
The Honorable the Colonial Treasurer.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Ordinance No. 1 of 1848 having been brought on the table for the second reading, it was determined by His Excellency The Governor, with the advice of the Council that previous to its receiving such second reading, it should be transmitted to the Colonial office as a Draft Ordinance.
Resolved that the Legislative Council do meet regularly without special summons every Thursday, at one o'clock P.M., instead of at noon as heretofore.
Read and approved this day of 1848.
