Present:

His Excellency The Governor,

The Honorable the Acting Chief Justice.

The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.

Mr. Mercer the Colonial Treasurer, was sworn in by His Excellency the Governor as a member of the Legislative Council and took his seat accordingly.

Council adjourned until Saturday the 1st January, 1848, at 11 A.M.
