Read a first time Consular Ordinance No. of 1846 entitled "An ordinance to affirm and maintain entire the provisions of Ordinance No. 5 of 1844 entitled "'An ordinance to carry into effect the Treaties between Great Britain and China and to indemnify Her Majesty's Consuls, and all other persons in China who may have hitherto assisted therein,'" which was ordered to be sent round to Members.
