On 1st June, 1991, daily-rated employees received a wage increase averaging 10.21%.

This brings the new monthly take-home pay for most Bus Captains to about $8,730, those driving the larger 3-axle buses now have a take-home pay of about $9,510 per month, while the average monthly wage for a new Bus Captain is $7,420. Bus Captains driving medium-size air-conditioned single-deck buses now earn about $6,120 per month.

On 1st September, 1991,monthly-paid employees

received a salary increase averaging of 10%. At the

end of 1991, the Company had a total of 10,578 employees.
