Recruitment for the period was mainly for

bus captains and the net increase in bus

captains was 227 for the year. The

Company's total workforce was 10,610 at the end of December.

SAFETY AND COURTESY

KMB takes safety on the roads seriously, and spends time and money promoting this aim amongst both the public and our own staff. Last year we donated the Road Safety Bus to the Hong Kong Road Safety

Association Limited and continued to take

part in the Road Safety Days organised in

various districts, such as Kwai Chung.

道路安全及禮貌活動

九巴一向非常注重道路安全,並不惜耗費 時間及金錢向市民大衆及本公司員工提倡 道路安全。本公司去年捐贈了一輛道路 安全巴士給予香港道路安全協會,並不斷 參與不同地區(例如葵涌、青衣及沙田) 舉辦之道路安全日活動。本公司大部份

公眾活動均針對兒童及青少年進行, 因為我們相信對他們宣傳收效最大。 本公司期望鼓勵乘坐巴士之兒童注意 禮貌及安全之餘,亦可同時協助及引導 他們明白使用道路時之潛在危險。
