trying out these 35 seater coaches on Route No.64K with a view to their replacing the existing single deck buses on the route as the latter are scrapped.
In like manner, from late 1990 we have been using both air-conditioned and normal double-deck buses on Route Nos. 2 and 68X to see which the public prefer. We will only really know if the demand is there when the weather becomes hotter. However, our intention is to give people the service they
want.
Our air-conditioned fleet stood at 174 buses at the end of 1990, and a further 122 3-axle 11 metre double-deck buses are
either under construction or on order for
1991. The Mitsubishi 35 seater single-deck
buses have also proved successful and we
have ordered another 8 1 of these as well.

三菱三十五座位單層巴士亦深受市民 歡迎,故本公司已另外訂購八十一輛同
類型之巴士。
