September, 1987 and has now been re-developed into a modern 17-storey
headquarters building. The new building
has four floors of car park for the
accommodation of 90 cars and 13 floors of office accommodation with a
total floor area of 16,565 square
metres. Construction of the
superstructure started in May, 1988
and was completed in December, 1989. The administrative offices at Kwai Chung, the medical centre and the recruitment centre at Hung Yu
Mansion have now been relocated in the site of the original headquarters at Lai Chi Kok.
Kowloon Bay Permanent Depot
A site of 21,470 square metres at the
Kowloon Bay reclamation area acquired
from Government by private treaty grant, is being developed into a
3-storey bus depot and a 4-storey
office building with a total floor area of
69,988 square metres. The depot will have 117 maintenance bays/pits and
374 parking spaces and will be able to
provide maintenance for all the buses in East Kowloon. Construction of the
superstructure commenced in October,
1988 and will be completed in two phases. Phase I which covers the refuelling and bus washing area was completed in mid-January, 1990 and the whole depot is expected to be completed in mid 1990. When this new depot is put into operation, on- street parking in the Kwun Tong area will be eliminated.

五月動工,並於一九八九年十二月完成。
設於葵涌之行政辦事處、鴻裕大廈之醫療 中心及招募中心已遷回原來之荔枝角
總寫字樓。
九龍灣永久性車廠
由政府以私人協議方式批出位於九龍灣
填海區之一幅二萬一千四百七十平方米之
土地,本公司現正將之興建成為一幢三層 高之巴士車廠及四層高之寫字樓,樓面
總面積為六萬九千九百八十八平方米。
此車廠將有一百一十七個維修間/車坑及
三百七十四個泊車位,將可為東九龍所有
巴士提供維修服務。上層建築工程已於
一九八八年十月展開,分兩期完成。
第一期包括加油及巴士清洗區,已於
一九九零年一月中完成,整個車廠預期於
一九九零年年中完成。待新車廠啟用後,
觀塘之巴士將毋須再停泊於路邊。
