'Walks for Millions' and raised over $10,000 for the Community Chest. This year we did more than just raise money. During 1988, more than two
hundred of our staff took part in the
Blood Donation drive organised by the Hong Kong Red Cross. And in
response to the call by the Kidney
Donation Society (HK) Limited, thirty staff have registered themselves as
kidney donors. To promote education
on road safety, KMB also sponsored the Road Safety Game Campaign with
souvenirs, and held gamestalls at the
regional Road Safety Days to teach.

MORE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC
Our Passenger Enquiry Hotline handled 467,439 telephone calls from the public in 1988, which is over 1,280 calls every day of the year.
To tell the public more about KMB's
services and how the Company was
developing, 30 functions and 53
visits/media interviews were arranged
during 1988. These included the
Inauguration Ceremonies of new
routes, the Topping Out Ceremony of
the new Shatin Depot, visits by overseas visitors, local officials and
organizations to the Company, and TV
programmes covering some aspects of the operation of KMB.

此外,又有三十名員工响應香港捐腎會之
呼籲,登記為捐腎者。為促進道路安全
教育,本公司贊助道路安全運動各區
遊戲攤位的紀念品,又在地區道路安全日
設置遊戲攤位,透過遊戲及展覽教導
靑少年怎樣禮貌地及安全地乘車。

本公司之乘客諮詢熱線電話服務於
一九八八年內共處理四十六萬七千四百
三十九個市民查詢電話,每日平均接聽
電話一千二百八十個。
為使大眾知道更多有關本公司之服務及
本公司之發展情況,一九八八年間,本
公司安排了三十項活動及五十三次訪問/
新聞採訪,其中包括新巴士路線之
開幕儀式、新沙田車廠之平頂儀式、
海外訪客、本地官員及組織到本公司
參觀,以及拍攝有關本公司運作之
電視節目。
