Furthermore, the Company sponsored
engineers on selective basis for further
study. Three engineers are now
studying for their masters degree. The
Company will continue to train
engineers to meet its needs.
Training of Supervisory Staff
During the year, the Company
conducted ten advanced training
courses, seven of which were run by
specialist instructors from the
manufacturers' organizations. A total of
197 skilled workers and engineers
completed the courses. The Company
will continue to train its staff and keep
them up-to-date with the current.

Training To Improve Computer Knowledge Within KMB
As a means of improving computer knowledge within KMB, staff were also
constantly sent to various organizations.
like IBM, Hong Kong Management
Association, Hong Kong Productivity
Council, various Technical Institutes,
Vocational Training Council and other
software companies to attend computer courses.
MORE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
As in previous years, KMB and its staff again supported numerous charity. activities in 1988. To raise funds for the disabled, one men's and one
ladies' teams represented KMB in the
Pedal 88 pedal-cart marathon organised
by the Hong Kong Round Table III. Our teams pedalled non-stop for 24 hours and raised over $34,000. In addition, over one hundred KMB staff participated in the Kwai Tsing District.

監察人員之訓練
在本年內,本公司共舉辦十個高級訓練
課程,其中七個由製造商派來之專家作

完成課程。本公司將繼續培訓內部
職工,使彼等能認識汽車業內現代科技之
最新發展。
訓練員工認識本公司電腦之操作
為加強員工對電腦操作之認識,本公司
經常派送員工到各機構如國際商業機器、
香港管理專業協會、香港生產力促進局、
各工業學院、職業訓練局及其他電腦軟件
公司進修電腦課程。
參與更多社會活動
一如往年,本公司及各級員工在一九八八
年內會支持多項公益活動。為傷殘人士
籌募善款,本公司派男女子隊各一隊,
參加由香港圓桌會三號主辦之一九八八年
廿四小時慈善腳踏車大賽,經過
二十四小時不眠不休的踏車,本公司參賽
隊伍籌得善款超過三萬四千元。此外,
超過一百名本公司員工參加葵青區
百萬行,為公益金籌得超過一萬元善款。
