Training of Apprentices

The Company has continued to place. great emphasis on training and had a very successful year in 1988. KMB apprentices made a clean sweep by winning all three prizes in the 1988

Best Apprentice Competition organised.

Board. During the year, 48 apprentices graduated from the Training School of which 7 were of technician grade. At

the year end, we had 275 apprentices

under training with 31 on the

technician course. And eight

apprentices came in first in their class annual examination. All this

demonstrates that our training is of a very high standard.

Training of Professional Engineers

At the end of 1988, there were nine

Engineering Graduates under training. This training qualifies for the Vocational Training Council of Hong Kong subsidy which shows a recognition of the high standard of training offered by KMB for professional engineers.

及訓練現職員工以保持優良的工作表現。

學徒訓練

本公司秉承一貫方針,對學徒訓練極為

重視;而一九八八年更是辦得非常成功。

本公司之三名學徒在汽車業訓練委員會

主辦的一九八八年最佳學徒比賽中,囊括

冠亞季三個獎項。年內,本公司學徒

訓練學校之畢業生有四十八名,其中七名

獲得技術員資格:年終時本公司共有

二百七十五名學徒受訓,其中三十一名

學徒攻讀技術員課程。此外,九巴八名

學徒在工業學院的班際考試中名列前茅。

這些都說明本公司之訓練課程水平極高。

專業工程師之訓練

至一九八八年年底,本公司共有九名工程

科畢業生在本公司接受訓練,此項訓練

是獲得香港職業訓練局認可並給予津貼,

可見本公司為專業工程師提供之訓練水準

極高。此外,本公司亦甄選及資助合資格
