the staff and organization required for the proper selection of tenants. To consider whether social surveys are required, and if so to recommend how they should be undertaken.
Estates Organization Select Committee. To make re- commendations regarding the extent of and organiza- tion required for the management of completed estates; the conditions of tenancy and the supervision and control of tenants.
Finance and Accountancy Select Committee. To examine the financial implication of all housing projects and to advise generally on all the Authority's financial transac- tions. To make recommendations in conjunction with the Accountant General regarding the system of accounts to be adopted and the staff required for the Accounts Section.
By-laws and Rules Select Committee. To make recom- mendations for by-laws under the Housing Ordinance, co-ordinating the recommendations of other Select Committees in this respect. To advise the Authority on the general form which tenancy agreements and other such legal documents should take. To give a ruling on any matter referred to the Select Committee by the Authority.
Publicity Select Committee. To consider the methods by which the general public can best be informed of the activities of the Authority, and to implement the same.
