The following changes in membership occurred during the year:
(1) His Excellency the Governor appointed the Director of Public Works as Vice-Chairman of the Housing Authority with effect from 12th July, 1954.
(2) On the 1st November, 1954, Colonel John Douglas Clague, C.B.E., M.C., T.D., succeeded Mr. David Scott Robb as an ex-officio Member of the Authority.
(3) On the 11th March, 1955, Mr. Brian Charles Keith Hawkins, C.M.G., O.B.E., was appointed Secretary for Chinese Affairs in place of Mr. Ronald Ruskin Todd.
(4) On the 11th March, 1955, Dr. Teng Pin Hui was appointed Acting Deputy Director of Health Services in place of Dr. George Graham-Cumming
