42 Method of address

ADDRESSING MACHINE PLATES

If addressing machine plates are used, any reference number or other non-address particulars which it is necessary to show on the plate should be kept to the top or extreme left-hand side of the address panel as shown by the following illustrations:

Firms regularly using these plates for postings in large quantities are invited to get in touch with the Controller of Posts (H.K.) & (K. & N.T.) to arrange for the plates to be sorted to assist postal handling.
