Articles intended for registration may be sent to the post office in a private bag and the relative receipts will be returned in the bag.
Registered articles and parcels are not delivered until receipts therefor are signed, and such receipts addressed to the user of a bag service will be sent to him for signature; when duly signed and returned to the post office the registered articles or parcels will be enclosed in the bag.
Private bag holders will be allotted a P.O. Box number to which all correspondence should be addressed. This is merely done to facilitate sorting and it is not necessary for a private bag holder to rent a post office box.
