Prohibitions: Bank-notes; gold; jewellery; platinum; precious stones; silver; coin (except gold coin).

Restrictions apply to the importation of: Letters or packets containing deeds, shares, warrants, and so on, as well as those containing Turkish currency, including cheques or drafts made out in Turkish money.

The limit of weight for samples of cereals, coffee, flour, rice and tea is 100 grammes (3 ounces) net; and for dyes of all kinds 25 grammes net. Sample packets in general are not admitted if the amount of the customs duty exceeds 15 Kurus.
