Declarations on parcels containing cotton blankets, boots or shoes of rubber and canvas, jerseys, shirts, singlets, socks, stockings, and so on, should show the number of articles or pairs enclosed. If piece goods of cotton or artificial silk or admixtures thereof are enclosed, the square yardage should be indicated.
Prohibitions: Letters, except one for the addressee; arms, except under permit; trade and immature spirits.

Insurance: Insurance only as far as Eldoret, Entebbe, Jinja, Kampala, Kilindini, Kisumu, Kitale, Mbale, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, Nanyuki and Nyeri. Insured parcels for other places must be marked by the senders to be insured as far as service permits.
