PROHIBITIONS: letters; arms, except sporting weapons admitted under permit; coin; cotton-seed; grapes; playing cards; saccharine and its products. RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of alcoholic liquors; plants and bulbs;

tobacco (manufactured), cigars and cigarettes.

SEALING parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.

INVOICE: a certified invoice should accompany each commercial parcel.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bottles, corks and labels bearing the marks of non- Turkish firms; cigarette papers, machines and tobacco of all kinds, cigars, cigarettes and snuff, unless addressed to the Administration of the Tobacco Monopoly; cottons not mentioned in the official list (Codex) except cotton prepared for medical use; military weapons (except for the Government) and air-guns; quinine in compressed form, if coloured; worn clothing, beddding, and so on, except with a certificate of disinfection. RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of alcoholic liquors; cigarette lighters;

coffee; matches; pharmaceutical preparations; playing cards.
