INLAND POST
The Post Office Ordinance 1926 further provides that:-
(1) The importation by post of any thing which is
prohibited to be sent by post is prohibited. (2) Intoxicating liquor shall not be imported by post. (3) The Postmaster General may refuse to receive in the post, or refuse to forward, any thing which, by reason of its nature, contents or form, or for any other reason is not in accordance with any departmental rules made or adopted by him, or any departmental practice followed by the Post Office.
(4) No postal packet shall contain any enclosures which is directed to a name and address different from the name and address borne on the cover, and which is enclosed with the intention by evading postage.
(5) Precious stones, jewellery, and other precious
articles shall not be sent by letter post.
Notwithstanding any alternative method of treat- ment and disposal of prohibited articles authorised by the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, it shall be lawful for the Postmaster General, or any officer of the Post Office authorised by him in that behalf, forthwith to destroy any postal packet and the contents thereof, which may have been opened under the authority of Sections 10, 12 and 13 of the said Ordinance, and the contents of which may be any obscene, immoral, indecent, offensive or libellous writing, picture or other thing.
EMBARRASSING PACKETS
Packets embarrassing to the Post Office staff are also prohibited, for example:

A packet having anything printed or otherwise upon or attached to the address side which, either by tending to prevent the easy and quick reading of the address, or by inconvenient proximity to the postage stamps, or in any other way, is likely to impede the officers of the Post Office in dealing with it. Cards, enve- lopes, labels and wrappers are, however, admitted if the writing or printing is confined to the left-hand half of the address side, the right-hand half being reserved exclusively for the postage stamps and the address;
