PROHIBITIONS: letters; bullion; coin; eau de cologne (Basutoland only); honey and old appliances for bee-keeping; oilskins and similar oiled goods; precious stones.
RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of plants and seeds; serum, vaccine
and similar preparations; unmanufactured leaf tobacco. MAXIMUM value per parcel, $800.
CUSTOMS DECLARTIONS must show the current value of the finished articles in
the open market at the time of despatch.
COMPENSATION is not payable.
PACKING: Parcels must be packed in strong boxes, in metal boxes, or in a
leather covering.

permit; worn clothing.
