PROHIBITIONS: letters; cigarette lighters; coin not current in Roumania (except antique coins); game, from February to July inclusive; military weapons and accessories (except for the State); saccharine and similar products, unless addressed to chemists; tobacco, except with the special permission of the State Monopoly.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of: fish; meat, poultry, and animal products; medicines; plants and parts of plants; playing cards; weights and measures.

INVOICE an invoice should be enclosed in each parcel or consignment of parcels for the same addressee containing merchandise sent by or to traders. If an invoice covers more than one parcel, a note giving the name and address of the sender and particulars of the contents should be enclosed in each parcel not containing the invoice.

SEALING parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS should show the full details of the contents in French as well as in English, and, if possible, in accordance with the Roumanian Customs tariff.
