Limitations of service and special conditions

PROHIBITIONS: letters; counters resembling coin; spirits, weights and mea-

sures not of the decimal system.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of arms (including air-guns); books and printed matter in Arabic; mineral waters; preserved plums, sardines and vegetables; saccharine and similar substances.

SEALING parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.

INSURANCE only to Port Etienne and Rosso,

DELIVERY: parcels for all places are accepted; but they must be claimed at the nearest of the following offices, of which the name should, if possible, appear in the address :

Akjoujt.

Aleg.

Atar.

Boghé

Boutilimit.

Rosso. Sélibaby Tamchakett,

Chinguetti.

Mederdra.

Fort Gouraud. Kaédi,

Kiffa.

Moudjéria. Nouakchott. Port Etienne.

Tidjíkja.

Delivery charges are collected from the addressees.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of plants and of dyes not of British

origin.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bank-notes (except Mexican notes).

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of arms; medicines and toilet

preparations; plants, fruit, seeds and vegetables; tinned meat.

PACKING straw hats and similar articles are accepted only if packed in strong

wooden or metal cases. COMPENSATION is not payable.
