RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of the following articles:

Japan and Japanese Saghalien: bonds, securities, and so on; dyes and chemical products derived from coal tar; firearms; plants and parts of plants, including seeds and potatoes; tobacco.

Formosa: same as Japan and in addition drugs; liqueurs and materials for the manufacture of spirits; silver coin and bullion; weights and

measures.

Leased Territory of Kwantung firearms; drugs, serums and vaccines. INVOICE: parcels of merchandise should contain a copy of the relative invoice. KWANTUNG: the Leased Territory of Kwantung is distinct from the province of Kwangtung, South China: see under China. Parcels are accepted only for Chinchow, Choushuitzu, Dairen (Dalny), Lingchientun, New Town, Liushutun Pitzuwo, Port Arthur (Riojun), Pulantien and Shahowkow.
