other places must be noted by the sender : TO BE INSURED AS FAR AS THE

SERVICE PERMITS.

COMPENSATION is not payable for loss or damage to uninsured parcels during landing or addressed to a place in Ashanti over three miles from the railway.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bees; bronze, copper and silver coin; mechanical lighters; old clothes (unless for personal use and accompanied by a certi- ficate of disinfection), shoes and paper; playing cards; quinine; saccharine; unginned cotton.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of arms; biscuits; bulbs and fruit;

fresh meat; patent medicines; plants and parts of plants.

The importation of many other articles is subject to certain limitations; and senders of commercial parcels should ascertain before posting, whether the contents are admissible.

ROUTE must be indicated on the parcel and despatch note.

SEALING parcels sent to Corfu via Italy should be sealed with a distinctive

device.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS should be in French or Greek as well as in English.

Weights should be shown in grammes. INSURANCE only to certain places.
